About Sifu Studios
A native of California, Richard has his Master of Fine Art degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, in addition to his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from California State University, San Bernardino.
After 15 years in sales and marketing, Richard began working under the moniker of "Sifu Studios" as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer in 2015. His work includes pencil art for web comic titles "Black Shadow" (#7) and "Psypher" (#6 & #7), for
Void Comics, in addition to full color illustration and graphic design projects for various other clients.
Currently, Richard resides with his family in San Francisco's North Bay area, where he toils away on both commissioned work, and personal projects.
